Company Profile

Our company was started in 1981 by James K Morelli Sr. and Anthony (Tony) Morelli as a small residential service company. Jim retired in 1992 and turned over operations to Tony. With his brother Andrew (and his sister Angela Prince, retired in 2005) the company has grown to over 60 employees, 35 trucks and serve nearly 10,000 satisfied customers.

Service Department

Our service department provides service 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. Our Nate Certified and trained service technicians have extensive knowledge with all makes and models and have the skills to service on any type of residential, commercial or industrial systems ranging from home type systems to boilers, chillers, large commercial VAV systems and DDC controls. Our Service Department's goal is to provide 100% customer satisfaction. We can and do provide service that is second to none. Service contracts are available to meet any needs.

Our People

Our Commercial and Industrial Division is headed up by Anthony (Tony) Morelli, the company President. Mr. Morelli is responsible for the design and development of all design build projects.

Andrew Morelli, the company's Vice-President directs the day to day operations of the Mechanical Division.

Our Residential and Light Commercial division is managed by Buddy Hazel. Mr. Hazel has over 20 years experience in HVAC installations and provides free estimates for new equipment. Mr. Hazel has been with Morelli for over 10 years.

Our service department manager is Anthony (Rocky) Pye Jr. who can answer all questions concerning your service needs. Morelli's service department is here to serve all of your heating and cooling needs.

David Hartman is our Comptroller. David has been working in accounting for over 30 years.

Our Services

We can provide you with the highest level of comfort in your home or business. Our Residential Division specializes in providing comfort solutions for Historical Charleston. Some of these famous homes include the Nathaniel Russell House, SC Historical Society, Fireproof Building, Miles Brewton House and Pineapple Gate House just to name a few.

The Mechanical Division provides Design Build Services for HVAC and Plumbing. This service is provided for a wide variety of buildings. Our design build department has handled small 5,000 square foot office buildings as well as buildings over 100,000 square feet. In the last five years our company has provided mechanical services for over 1 million square feet of space. Our sheet metal shop uses the latest in technology. The VICON computerized plasma table helps in reducing cost in fabrication time and material waste. On average our shop fabricates over 400,000 lbs. of various types of metal per year.

From office buildings, medical centers, retail centers, manufacturing facilities, churches and schools, specialized design for industrial processing & laboratories, Morelli Heating & A/C can provide our clients with full design build solutions including engineering, mechanical drawings, construction management, installation and service that is at a level above our competition in our area.

Morelli Heating & A/C is a member of ASHREA, SC Association of Heating and Air Conditioning Contractors and South Carolina Mechanical Contractors Association. We are an Unlimited Mechanical Contractor in the state of South Carolina.
